Sandbach Market takes a step back in time with Hartbrights
The historic market town of Sandbach in Cheshire boasts a traditional indoor market which this year is benefiting from a complete refurbishment. Hartbrights have been drafted in by Kaberry Building and architect David Trowler Associates to provide signage in a two phase project at the market, the first of which is now complete.
Sandbach Indoor Market houses several market stall units which have roller shutters to the front for security. We were instructed to provide vinyl graphics for these, featuring photographs from the town’s past.
We digitally printed the supplied photography on SA vinyl and applied an anti-graffiti laminate for ease of maintenance and a long life. The vinyl was applied throughout the market very recently, along with sign written fascias above each unit and etched vinyl Sandbach crests to all entrance doors.
The result is a modern marketplace which celebrates the long history of the market and the town. Take a look at the gallery below.
This concluded phase one, with phase two awaiting planning permission for the installation of brushed gold stainless steel built up lettering and LED Halo illuminated signage to the exterior.
